About Tauck

Tauck has been guiding land journeys since 1925 and entered river cruising in 2006. Its European fleet of Inspiration-class ships is known for spacious 300-square-foot suites at the bow, a fully inclusive fare, and a high crew-to-guest ratio. Tauck Bridges departures are designed specifically for grandparents travelling with grandchildren.

Today the line operates a fleet of 8 ships ranging from 84 to 130 guests. The newest vessel in service entered the fleet in 2018, while the oldest still sailing under the brand was launched in 2008.

The brand currently sails 5 distinct waterways. Each river demands a slightly different vessel — Rhine and Danube longships are typically 3 ships at roughly 135 metres in length, while the line's Douro, Loire, Mekong and Nile vessels are purpose-built for shallower waters and tighter lock chambers.
