About Vodohod

Vodohod is the dominant operator on the Volga, Don, Svir and Neva rivers, with a fleet of refurbished Soviet-era vessels and the new MS Mustai Karim, the first new-build Russian river ship in three decades. Its signature itinerary connects Moscow and St Petersburg through the Russian heartland.

Today the line operates a fleet of 7 ships ranging from 109 to 329 guests. The newest vessel in service entered the fleet in 2020, while the oldest still sailing under the brand was launched in 1974.

The brand currently sails 1 distinct waterways. Each river demands a slightly different vessel — Rhine and Danube longships are typically 5 ships at roughly 135 metres in length, while the line's Douro, Loire, Mekong and Nile vessels are purpose-built for shallower waters and tighter lock chambers.
