About Scenic Luxury Cruises
Scenic positions itself at the top of the river-cruise market with butler-serviced suites on every deck, a salt-therapy lounge on most ships, and a fully inclusive fare that covers tipping, all beverages, and a daily choice of guided shore excursions through the Scenic Freechoice program.
Today the line operates a fleet of 12 ships ranging from 44 to 169 guests. The newest vessel in service entered the fleet in 2017, while the oldest still sailing under the brand was launched in 2008.
The brand currently sails 5 distinct waterways. Each river demands a slightly different vessel — Rhine and Danube longships are typically 9 ships at roughly 135 metres in length, while the line's Douro, Loire, Mekong and Nile vessels are purpose-built for shallower waters and tighter lock chambers.
