About River Allegro

River Allegro belongs to Grand Circle Cruise Line's River Concerto series and entered service in 2003. Built to navigate the lock systems and bridge clearances of European waterways, she measures roughly 110 metres in length and accommodates up to 86 guests in 43 staterooms across 3 passenger decks.

Grand Circle and its sister brand Overseas Adventure Travel run a fleet of seven 46-cabin "River Concertos" purpose-built for the European waterways. The intimate scale (about 92 guests vs the 190-passenger competitors) and inclusive Discovery Series of cultural programs are central to the brand. River Allegro reflects that brand DNA — from the design of her public spaces to the inclusions in her base fare.

The ship's typical home waters are the Rhine, where she runs 8 distinct itineraries during the operating season. Repositioning sailings, themed wine cruises and Christmas-market voyages may be added in autumn and early winter.
