About Emerald Radiance
Emerald Radiance belongs to Emerald Cruises's Star-Ship series and entered service in 2017. Built to navigate the lock systems and bridge clearances of European waterways, she measures roughly 80 metres in length and accommodates up to 112 guests in 56 staterooms across 3 passenger decks.
A sister brand to Scenic, Emerald Cruises was launched in 2014 to bring contemporary, design-led river cruising to a younger audience. Its Star-Ships are best known for the heated indoor swimming pool at the stern that transforms into a cinema by night, and for the panoramic balcony suites that fill most of the upper two decks. Emerald Radiance reflects that brand DNA — from the design of her public spaces to the inclusions in her base fare.
The ship's typical home waters are the Douro, where she runs 2 distinct itineraries during the operating season. Repositioning sailings, themed wine cruises and Christmas-market voyages may be added in autumn and early winter.
