About Aqua Mekong

Aqua Mekong belongs to Aqua Expeditions's Aqua Design series and entered service in 2014. Built to navigate the lock systems and bridge clearances of European waterways, she measures roughly 62 metres in length and accommodates up to 40 guests in 20 staterooms across 4 passenger decks.

Aqua Expeditions runs three river vessels — Aqua Mekong (Cambodia/Vietnam), Aria Amazon and Aqua Nera (both on the Peruvian Amazon) — alongside its yacht-class ocean ships. Each river vessel carries fewer than 40 guests, with floor-to-ceiling-glass design suites and partner-chef tasting menus. Aqua Mekong reflects that brand DNA — from the design of her public spaces to the inclusions in her base fare.

The ship's typical home waters are the Mekong, where she runs 2 distinct itineraries during the operating season. Repositioning sailings, themed wine cruises and Christmas-market voyages may be added in autumn and early winter.
